Korea Peace Advocacy Summer

Where: Online and In-Person Meetings with Members of Congress

Every summer, hundreds of advocates from across the country come together to participate in the Korea Peace Advocacy Summer campaign. Participants organize with their local communities and urge elected officials to support legislation that advances peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Advocates meet with Members of Congress and their staff—either virtually or in person—to share their stories and encourage support for policies that promote lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.

This year’s advocacy efforts include supporting the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act, opposing excessive U.S. military spending, and advancing justice for survivors of military sexual violence.
