May 18 People's Uprising Event: On May 18, we commemorated the 46th anniversary of the People’s Uprising, honoring the enduring spirit of democracy and sacrifice. The Korean American Peace Fund (KAPF) was proud to sponsor this meaningful event. During the program, we paid tribute to the late Hanbong Yoon, lifting up his legacy and the values he instilled. We especially highlighted his teaching of MinKwon’s three mottos: Live right, know your roots, and live together—principles that continue to guide our work and community today.
