Korean American Peace Fund Online Forum: "For a World Without Nuclear Weapons"

The Korean American Peace Fund will host an online forum, "For a World Without Nuclear Weapons," featuring members of the Korean Non-Nuclear Peace Citizens' Alliance, who will visit the United States this February and March. The forum will include Rev.  Late Tuesday night in South Korea, President Yoon Suk-Yeol deployed authoritarian measures to suppress the will of Korean citizens and their parliamentary representatives. The National Assembly quickly passed a resolution demanding the martial law end, and people took to the streets to protest. Although President Yoon has agreed to lift the declaration, by declaring martial law and attempting to silence his opposition, President Yoon is showing a dangerous and improper use of his power.

Attendees, including experts and community advocates, explored strategies to promote diplomacy and advance initiatives like the Korean Peninsula Peace Act. 2024 VFP Virtual Convention, Workshop

Korean American Peace Fund held a workshop titled ‘Justice for Korean Atomic Bomb Victims’ at the Veterans for Peace (VFP) National Convention held online on Friday, August 16th under the theme of ‘Korean American Community and the Anti-War and Anti-Nuclear Movement’. On this day, six preparatory committee members for the ‘2026 Korean People’s Tribunal for Atomic Bomb Victims’ came forward and requested participation in the people’s court.
